Spotlight is a design located in the vibrant area of Berlin, where nightlife thrives. Its purpose is to create a space that combines music, dance, and community, translating shared experiences into personal moments. The design concept reflects the lively atmosphere found in the city's clubs and raves, focusing on the energetic beats of techno music.

Spatial Organization

The layout of Spotlight resembles a small dancefloor, inviting users to engage directly with the experience. By placing individuals at the center, the design fosters a sense of connection with the sound and light elements around them. The spatial volume is carefully crafted to provide an intimate environment while allowing for interactions both inside the installation and with the city's bustling surroundings.

Exterior Expression

The exterior of Spotlight is made from translucent plastic, featuring diverse motifs and patterns inspired by local street art. This choice serves to enhance the visual identity of the structure while connecting it to the lively urban area. The artwork on the surface turns the building itself into a canvas, blending architecture and creative expression in a meaningful way.

Functional Integration

Inside, Spotlight includes speakers, lights, USB ports, and WiFi, ensuring that users can enjoy a modern and interactive experience. The setup allows for control via a smartphone app, enabling easy access to the environment’s features. These elements help establish Spotlight as a gathering place for music sharing and enjoyment, reflecting the needs of a contemporary audience.

The thoughtful design culminates in an environment where visitors experience sound and light all around them, creating a vibrant space that links individual feelings to the collective energy of Berlin's nightlife.
