Architect Winka H. Dubbledam redefines architecture for a changing world by integrating technology and sustainability from the ground up. Projects like V33, American Loft Tower, and the Hangzhou Asian Games Park showcase her innovative, eco-conscious approach, creating spaces that are both forward-thinking and environmentally responsive.
Winka Dubbeldam, founding partner of Archi-Tectonics NYC (1994), is renowned for her award-winning work and has served as Chair and Miller Professor of Architecture at UPenn for 10 years (2013-23). She’s taught at Columbia, Cornell, and Harvard, chaired numerous design juries, and currently is the external examiner for the AA and Bartlett in London, serves on the editorial board of the PLAN Journal Italy, and as the creative director of the City X for the Venice Architecture Biennale (2021–2025). Their recent book “Strange Objects, New Solids & Massive Things” was published by Actar Spain (2021).
