1.3. We protect and take care of the privacy and protection of personal data of visitors of the Portal. We undertake to respect your right to lawful processing and protection of personal data as well as to comply with the applicable laws and regulations on the protection of personal data — General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other laws and regulations if such are applicable to data processing.

2.2. We collect, store and use the following automatically-collected information, hereinafter - Device Information:
2.2.1. When you visit the Portal, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, device model, screen size, time zone, geographic location and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.
2.2.2. Additionally, as you browse the Portal, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what portals or search terms referred you to the Portal, and information about how you interact with the Portal.
2.3. We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
2.3.1. “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier;
2.3.2. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Portal, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

2.4. You can register for competition by filling in the required information. Submitted information will be transferred to the Organizer and/or Registrar of relevant competition.
2.5. If you make payments to us, we process information related to such transactions.
2.6. When you make mentioned actions, we collect certain information you provide, including your name, email address, and phone number, hereinafter – Personal Data.
2.7. We collect following Personal Data:
2.7.1. Information you provide to apply for receiving newsletters;
2.7.2. Information you provide to register for competitions;
2.7.3. Any other information you wish to send to us.
PURPOSES FOR COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data collected on the Portal is used to:
3.1. Process and administer Competition Submissions in accordance with the Competition’s Terms and Conditions (find link to the Competition Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the Competition Portal or URL - https://architecturecompetitions.com/ INSERT-COMPETITION-NAME-HERE / terms);
3.2. Process payments;
3.3. Perform communications related to the Portal's activity;
3.4. Ensure the security of the Portal, the Data Controller, Bee Breeders, Organizer, Registrar and other users;
3.5. Provide you with information on competitions and other activities of Bee Breeders;
3.6. Provide you with marketing information related to Bee Breeders;
3.7. Publish User data (including full name, country, Portal, university name, university Portal, company name, company Portal) on the Portal and on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest accounts of Bee Breeders);
3.8. Comply with official requests of authorized third parties (including state and/or local authorities);
3.9. Ensure business development, including through collecting personal data for statistical and analytical purposes.
LEGAL BASES FOR COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The Data Controller collects and otherwise processes your personal data by using the following legal bases:
4.1. Entering into a contract with you and performing said contract (such as Competition Terms and Conditions (find the link to Competition Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the Competition Portal or URL - https://architecturecompetitions.com/ INSERT-COMPETITION-NAME-HERE / terms)). This includes all personal data that you submit by completing and submitting a submission form to take part in a competition or to organize such a competition. If you do not provide Bee Breeders with the personal data required for performing the Terms and Conditions, this might influence your participation in the competition or a possibility to organize a competition.
4.2. Complying with statutory requirements. Bee Breeders may be required to collect and retain specific information about you. This is applicable where your personal data is necessary for accounting purposes, law enforcement purposes and any other compliance related requirements.
4.3. Legitimate interests of Bee Breeders. Bee Breeders may need your personal data to protect its legitimate interests, which may include: ensuring business development and marketing activity; responding to requests of authorized third parties; proving compliance with statutory requirements; protecting the Portal, other related resources, other property, our employees and/or partners; ensuring evidence for any legal dispute; or to protect other legal, financial and security interests.
4.4. Your consent. In certain cases, such as marketing purposes, Bee Breeders may process your personal data based on your consent.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
5.1. We use the Personal Data that we collect generally to manage and control submissions for competitions, contact with Organizer or Registrar. Additionally, we use this Personal Data to:
5.1.1. Offer our service to you;
5.1.2. Communicate with you;
5.1.3. Reply to your information queries;
5.1.4. Screening of potential risk of fraud or other offences; and
5.1.5. When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
5.2. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Portal (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Portal, to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns, to provide the best possible visual and technical experience for your specific device model, screen size and internet browser).
RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We may transfer your Personal Data to the following third parties:
6.1. Services providers of Bee Breeders such as marketing services providers, data storage providers, security consultants and other third parties who assist Bee Breeders to perform its functions and provide its services;
6.2. Authorized third parties (such as state or local authorities) in case Bee Breeders must disclose your personal data due to statutory requirements or to protect its legitimate interests;
6.3. To third parties in connection with corporate reorganization of Bee Breeders, where the information is provided to the new entity.
6.4. Bee Breeders may transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area. Such transfer of your personal data may be exercised by using standard contractual clauses (Article 46 of the GDPR), Privacy Shield mechanism (Article 45 of the GDPR) or other safeguards such as your consent or performance of a contract (Article 49 of the GDPR). 12.1. We seek to ensure the protection of your Information, therefore, this Portal is protected by appropriate means designed for the protection of information beyond our control against loss, malicious use or modification.
12.2. Although we apply security measures to protect confidential information and ensure appropriate security, we do not guarantee that the information transmitted over the internet is safe or that such transmissions will not be subject to delay, disturbance, interception or error.
