A61+ was established in 2024 in Barcelona. It serves as the synthesis of our nearly 20 years of professional experience and a fresh outlook on the future of European cities. Our practice is historically rooted in the search for a balance between leading international standards and the unique local context. Today, we operate as an "Architectural Developer," merging deep technical expertise with strategic analytical tools. We focus on decoding territorial potential through three strategic layers: Plot Due Diligence, Adaptive Heritage Reuse, and Identity-Driven Development. Our mission is to create high-performance environments where architectural integrity directly compounds long-term asset value and investment resilience.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

 Competitions provide a unique platform for "Pragmatic Utopianism." They allow us to test spatial strategies and innovative hypotheses for a "planet in transition"—ideas that will eventually become market standards. They are opportunities to engage in global architectural discourse and bridge the gap between theory and practice.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?

 View competitions as an essential investment in your own R&D (Research & Development). It is the most effective way to cultivate a distinctive architectural voice and learn how to ask the focused questions that define major projects.
