I am an architectural designer currently practicing in San Francisco.

Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?

I have worked on a range of projects, but this was the first where a more standard thermal comfort was not the objective.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

I participate in architecture competitions to be able to explore topics or develop skills that I am not currently otherwise working on.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?

 If you have the opportunity, join your first competition in a group with people who have experience doing other competitions.
