Please tell us about your company (when it was founded, where it is based, how many employees, etc) Alternatively, if you do not have a company, please give us some insights on your own professional/academia background.

We are Julieta and Fidel, the team behind anfibio, both architects. Founded in 2019, in Argentina, our studio emerged from a need to think through images. Our work moves between two realms: creating with others, and pursuing the inner explorations that nourish our own practice.

Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?

We give shape to visions, those we interpret for others, and those we pursue ourselves. Image is our medium, our craft and our way of thinking, it is the language that carries both: collaborative work and the ideas that emerge from within. We perceive beyond form, guided by a quiet sensitivity.

What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?

Being an architect means for us, creating spaces, places, or situations that make you feel something. Emotions should be involved.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

Architecture competitions are a good opportunity to expand our creative side, to get involved in worldwide projects, and to get to know other cultures and places during the investigation process..

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?

Participating in architecture competitions are always good experiences that enriches your formation, your exploration, your creativity.
