The Tili Wine Italy Guest Homes project is located in a scenic area, combining the charm of historical architecture with the needs of modern living. The design aims to create an inviting atmosphere that respects the past while providing comfort for guests. This balance reflects a thoughtful approach to layout and functionality, fostering a sense of community and tranquility in a natural setting.

Preservation and Integration

A key feature of the design involves the preservation and restoration of two existing buildings. This decision highlights the importance of the site's history and creates a link to its architectural heritage. By integrating these historic structures into the new site plan, a conversation emerges between old and new, enriching the overall narrative of the area.

Spatial Organization

The layout is organized around two distinct zones that form a central outdoor space. This arrangement promotes social interaction among guests while also offering private areas within the guesthouses. Each guesthouse has a patio, which provides direct access to the outdoors and ample natural light, allowing guests to connect easily with the surrounding landscape.

Material Choices

The project takes a sustainable approach by using natural materials such as wood and plaster, which help create a cozy relationship with the environment. Additionally, recyclable and demountable materials, including metal, are included to reflect a commitment to environmental responsibility. The color palette is kept low-key, ensuring that all elements blend well with the natural surroundings.

Wine Tasting Experience

At the heart of the design is the main building, which includes important communal spaces like the wine tasting area, kitchen, and dining room. This layout serves practical purposes while also supporting the values of connection and interaction that are central to the Tili family. The interior spaces are designed to encourage gatherings, creating a welcoming environment for both residents and visitors.

Large windows frame picturesque views, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. This design choice enhances the experience, letting guests appreciate the beauty of the landscape while enjoying the comfort of the interiors.
