GAUDI LA COMA ARTISTS' RESIDENCES is located in Huesca, Spain. The development reflects the design principles of Antoni Gaudi by focusing on sustainability, functionality, aesthetics, and innovation. The residences are designed to promote a connection with nature, creating a supportive environment for artists and residents.

Design Concept

The design centers around the idea of integrating the built space with the natural surroundings. Open spaces are prioritized to encourage interactions among residents and promote community engagement. This approach fosters an environment that resonates with nature while also providing a creative atmosphere.

Green Architecture

Incorporating green architecture is a key element of the project. It features green walls, green roofs, and large outdoor areas. These elements enhance the ecological balance of the area and contribute to a healthier living environment. The emphasis on green design not only boosts visual appeal but also supports biodiversity.

Interior and Public Spaces

A digital exhibition hall with LED panels that respond to touch acts as a focal point for community activities. This space invites both educational experiences and social gatherings. Vibrant common areas echo Gaudi's artistic influences, encouraging residents to engage with their surroundings creatively.

Private Residences

Private residences are thoughtfully positioned away from public areas to ensure a sense of privacy. These homes are accessible by golf carts and are elevated, providing occupants with views of the landscape. Materials such as wood lamels that resemble olive trees and stone cladding connect the design to local architectural traditions.

The combination of these thoughtful elements offers a design that promotes interaction between indoor spaces and the outdoors, allowing residents to feel more connected to their environment.
