The Net is designed as a modern residential space that emphasizes a seamless connection with nature. It integrates advanced design principles focusing on sustainability, user comfort, and aesthetic simplicity.

The architectural layout utilizes extensive glass elements, providing panoramic views and enhancing natural lighting within the interior spaces. The project aims to offer an immersive living experience, allowing occupants to engage actively with their surroundings.

Innovative Architectural Features

A defining characteristic of "The Net" is its unique "sleeping net" feature. This element allows users to rest suspended in a space that is meticulously arranged to ensure comfort while maintaining a connection to the outdoor environment.

The design incorporates multiple levels, systematically organized into functional zones. The first level serves as an entrance and storage area, providing essential services such as a bathroom. The subsequent levels facilitate various functions, with dedicated areas for sleeping and resting, characterized by built-in features that optimize space usage.

Materiality

Material selection is critical in this project. Wood is used extensively for structural elements, imparting warmth and a natural aesthetic. Stone cladding adds durability and visual weight to the façade, while glass walls create transparency, allowing the landscape to be a vital part of the interior experience. This choice of materials not only enhances comfort and ambiance but also aligns with sustainable design practices by utilizing resources that minimize environmental impact.

Functional Design Principles

The design emphasizes fluidity and versatility, accommodating a range of activities from relaxation to social interaction. The spaces are carefully delineated yet interconnected, promoting movement and engagement among the occupants.

The architectural design leverages large glass surfaces to facilitate daylight entry, reducing the need for artificial lighting and enhancing energy efficiency. The project emerges as a blend of function and environment, offering a unique architectural response to the need for modern living while respecting natural landscapes.
