The WEAVE VINE RETREAT YOGA HUT is a design focused on meditation and personal reflection. Located in a serene natural environment, it provides a space for yoga practice that encourages users to connect with themselves and their surroundings. The concept of a "box within a box" embodies the layered experience intended for those who seek peace and introspection.

Spatial Organization
- The structure consists of nested boxes that create a unique interaction between the available spaces. The inner area can be closed off for privacy or opened up to the outer box, allowing users to choose their level of exposure to the outside world. This flexible layout fosters a sense of comfort and security, essential for a space dedicated to meditation.

Material Expression
- The outer wall features a woven bamboo membrane that draws inspiration from Cambodian textiles and traditional basket weaving. This choice connects the design to local culture and history. The porous nature of the bamboo allows for ventilation, which helps manage airflow and temperature, making the interior inviting and comfortable.

Light and Shadow
- Natural light is an important aspect of the design. Light filters through the gaps in the woven bamboo, creating changing patterns on the walls and floors as the sun moves. This interplay between light and shadow encourages mindfulness and engages the senses, making each moment within the space a unique experience.

Cultural Integration
- The design integrates the Khmer "Chan Flower" motif, reflecting local culture and adding depth to the architectural narrative. This visual element serves not only as decoration but also as a reminder of the cultural context in which the retreat exists, highlighting the importance of place in design.

At night, the gentle glow from the boxes illuminates the surroundings, creating a calm atmosphere that invites users to engage in quiet contemplation and reflection.
