Underwater Canvas with Concrete Flying Blocks in a Lunar Meeting Space

Project in-detail

Concrete flying blocks form a surreal underwater environment that transitions to a lunar meeting space, designed for social interaction and creative exhibition in a digitally immersive setting.
5 key facts about this project
01
Flying concrete blocks create an immersive visual experience in the entrance area.
02
The design transitions users from an underwater theme to a lunar crater meeting space.
03
Avatars facilitate social interactions within a dedicated digital exhibition area.
04
The garden serves as a reminder of the physical world amidst immersive digital environments.
05
User-generated content and NFTs are integrated into the project's exhibition functions.

The design explores the relationship between virtual reality and spatial perception. Set in an immersive digital environment, it integrates spaces based on the concepts of Real, Surreal, and Unreal. Each area has a specific purpose while allowing users to move through imaginative settings. The overall approach encourages interaction, creating a dynamic user experience that reflects the complexities of living in a digital age.

Entrance Area

The experience begins in the green entrance area, where users step into a surreal underwater world. This space features flying concrete blocks that serve as both structural elements and visual canvases. The design aims to envelop users in a warped reality, stimulating their curiosity and inviting them to explore this digitally crafted environment.

Lunar Meeting Space

As users progress, they arrive at a meeting space located within a crater on the lunar surface. This unique design not only accommodates practical needs but also evokes themes of exploration and discovery. The stark contrast between the vibrant underwater area and the austere lunar landscape enhances the experience, encouraging users to reflect on their journey through different realms.

Exhibition Area

The exhibition area functions as a space for avatars to gather, communicate, and display creative works. It highlights the importance of social interaction in the digital world, particularly through user-generated content and the growing NFT market. The design fosters these interactions, focusing on community while moving away from traditional physical needs such as sleeping or eating.

Garden of Reality

The garden represents the connection to the outer physical world, providing a counterbalance to the more abstract environments found within the design. A prominent feature is a blank wall bordered by flying concrete wall parts, which creates a visual transition that emphasizes the shift between physical and surreal experiences. This design element serves as a reminder of the differences between digital interactions and the tangible reality users navigate.
