5 key facts about this project
01
The cabin is designed with wood trellises that enhance air circulation and light filtering.
02
A pneumatic mechanism allows for easy access to a concealed massage table.
03
The A-frame structure maximizes interior space while maintaining structural simplicity.
04
Dedicated drawers are included for easy storage of therapeutic oils and products.
05
Solar panels on the roof promote energy efficiency and sustainability.

The Vale De Moses meditation cabins are designed to create a peaceful environment that encourages mindfulness and personal reflection. Located in a tranquil natural setting, these cabins feature an open layout that is both functional and welcoming. The design utilizes a straightforward A-frame structure that blends well with the landscape, fostering a sense of harmony and calm.

Design Concept

The A-frame structure serves as the key element of the design. Its form provides stability while allowing for a spacious interior. This shape facilitates a variety of activities, including meditation and yoga, promoting interaction with the serene surroundings. The overall concept prioritizes an experience of quiet and introspection.

Spatial Arrangement

The interior layout focuses on maximizing usability. A central area offers space for movement and meditation, while shelves positioned on either side provide necessary storage without overwhelming the space. A notable feature is a massage table that is stored beneath the floor and can be accessed by removing a cover. This practical solution enhances the flexibility of the space for various uses.

Materiality and Features

Wood trellises are integrated into the walls, serving both an attractive and functional purpose. They help with airflow and filter natural light, creating a calming atmosphere inside. Dedicated drawers are designed for therapeutic oils and related items, ensuring easy access while maintaining order.

Sustainability

Sustainability is another important aspect of the design. Solar panels mounted on the roof allow the cabins to operate independently. This approach reflects an awareness of environmental issues, as it enables the cabins to function in balance with nature.

The inclusion of a sink in an unobtrusive location enhances the practicality of the space without drawing attention away from its serene character. These details collectively contribute to the calming experience of meditation, expressing a design philosophy that values simplicity and a connection to the surrounding environment.
