The Flower Cabin Meditation Hall is a uniquely designed building that focuses on the concepts of sacred geometry. Set in a natural environment, it serves two main purposes: producing flower essences and providing a peaceful space for meditation. The overall concept centers around an octagonal shape, which symbolizes the connection between heaven and Earth. This design choice helps create a calming atmosphere suitable for reflection and connection with nature.

Materials

Local timber is used as the primary building material, helping to root the hall in its environment and support sustainable practices. Glass is also incorporated to allow natural light into the interior. This choice enhances visual connections to the outside, allowing users to feel more in tune with their surroundings. The materials selected play a significant role in defining the space and connecting it with nature.

Spatial Organization

The layout of the Flower Cabin is designed to comfortably fit five to six individuals, encouraging a sense of intimacy during meditation. The octagonal form not only supports good acoustics but also enhances the overall visual connection between people inside the hall. This design blends practicality with a spiritual purpose, enabling participants to engage more fully with their meditation experience.

Orientation and Details

Particular attention has been paid to the altar's placement, which faces east. This positioning allows for the morning sun to enter the hall, providing essential light for making flower essences. This natural light helps create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Floral patterns are repeated in both the ceiling and flooring, emphasizing the theme of nature and reflecting the idea of "as above, so below."

A small wood oven adds a practical touch, providing warmth and comfort within the space. This detail complements the overall inviting feeling of the hall. It ensures a cozy environment for meditation while highlighting a commitment to creating a welcoming place where people can explore essence-making and personal reflection.
