The Compass Meditation Cabin emphasizes the connection between people and their natural surroundings. Set within a tranquil landscape, the cabin serves as a space for meditation and reflection. The design focuses on the cardinal points, with each direction carrying specific qualities that enhance the experience of those using the space. The overall concept promotes a sense of balance and harmony, making it a thoughtful addition to its environment.

Spatial Organization
The cabin is arranged symmetrically, encouraging individuals to explore their surroundings and engage in personal reflection. Each compass direction resonates with particular meditative aspects: the North represents Balance and Wisdom; the South stands for Transformation and Action; the East signifies Breath and Inspiration; and the West denotes Feeling and Reflection. This layout fosters a natural flow throughout the space, allowing users to move freely between the interior and exterior.

Material Selection
Materials play an important role in the design and functionality of the cabin. Timber panels are used both inside and out, providing warmth and a tangible connection to nature. Low-e glass is incorporated to enhance energy efficiency while offering clear views of the landscape. The wooden window joinery adds an inviting touch, blending seamlessly with the cabin's overall design. A lightweight metallic structure supports the entire assembly, making it easy to build and relocate, thus reflecting a commitment to sustainability.

Functional Versatility
The interior of the cabin can accommodate up to five people for meditation, whether seated or lying down. With a height of 3.65 meters, the space feels open and inviting. The total area of 28.8 square meters is compact but effectively designed for its purpose. The cabin is versatile; aside from meditation, it can also be used for processing flower essences, benefiting from sunlight that pours in through its large openings.

The design features four open entrances, allowing for plenty of air and light to brighten the interior. This openness enhances the meditative atmosphere, ensuring a strong connection with the outdoor environment. The space invites in the calming qualities of nature, enriching the experience for all who enter.
