The design centers on the idea of individuality, using the fingerprint as a symbol of the unique qualities found in each person. Set in an inviting landscape, the project seeks to create a space that encourages reflection and connection among its visitors. The overall concept emphasizes an environment where each individual is recognized and valued, aligning with themes of nurturing, protection, and respect for the human soul.

Conceptual Framework

At its core, the concept highlights that while society often labels people by categories such as skin color, gender, or culture, true identity comes from personal differences. This viewpoint shapes the form of the building, inviting users to engage not only with the space around them but also with their own inner thoughts. The design creates an atmosphere that fosters self-expression while also promoting a sense of community.

Materiality and Context

Stone is a key material in this design, symbolizing both strength and memory. With its lasting nature, stone serves as a reminder that the living honor the dead. This choice strengthens the connection to themes of remembrance and memorialization. It also enhances the tactile experience of the space, encouraging visitors to pause and reflect on their surroundings.

Spatial Experience

The layout of the design considers how people will move through the space, striking a balance between personal journeys and shared experiences. The arrangement allows for easy navigation and interaction, creating moments for reflection and connection with others. This thoughtful organization enhances the emotional impact of the environment, underscoring the importance of relationships, both personal and communal.

Every detail in this space, from the way light enters to the textures of the stone, supports a thoughtful atmosphere. Here, respect, memory, and the importance of togetherness come together, shaping a meaningful architectural experience.
