**Overview**

Located in Kemeri National Park, Latvia, the project is situated at the interface of moor and swamp areas. It aims to create a sustainable architectural installation that fosters an immersive experience of the surrounding natural landscape. The design features a viewing tower that rises approximately 10 meters, complemented by a spiraling ramp that enhances both physical and visual engagement with the environment.

**Design Strategy**

The architecture reflects a deep respect for its natural context, drawing inspiration from the region's distinctive trees and bird nests. The design facilitates a journey through varying heights and perspectives, encouraging visitors to explore the landscape in a safe and engaging manner. The spiral ramp not only provides an accessible ascent but also invites visitors to experience the dynamic interplay of light and shadow as they ascend. The viewing platform, located at the top, offers expansive 360-degree views, showcasing the park's diverse ecosystems throughout the day and across different seasons.

**Material Selection and Detailing**

The materials utilized in the construction prioritize sustainability and aesthetic harmony with the surroundings. Locally sourced oak is used for the platforms and ramps, offering both durability and visual appeal. Support structures made of galvanized and painted circular steel enhance stability while maintaining a visual contrast with the organic timber elements. Safety features, such as rubberized anti-slip mats and wooden handrails, provide tactile connections to the environment while ensuring visitor safety. The design also incorporates protective elements that enhance the experience without obstructing views of the natural setting, promoting a deeper appreciation of the park’s ecosystem.
