The Breathing Habitat project is situated in Vale De Moses, designed to enhance mindfulness and connect users with the surrounding landscape. This project includes two main structures: a yoga retreat and a tea house. Each component is crafted to promote personal reflection and foster community. The design focuses on simplicity and a seamless interaction with nature, creating spaces that encourage both individual and communal activities.

Yoga Retreat
The yoga retreat serves as a flexible space for various practices, including yoga and meditation. It is designed to accommodate both individual contemplation and group activities. The roof is lightweight and made from a semi-translucent canvas, allowing natural light to filter through while protecting against the elements. This choice creates an inviting atmosphere, strengthening the relationship between the interior space and the outdoor environment.

Tea House
Positioned below the yoga retreat, the tea house offers a sense of shelter while keeping the space open to nature. Its location allows for easy visibility and access for visitors. This building serves as a place for nourishment and social interaction, with a fireplace at its center that provides warmth and draws people together. The design encourages sharing moments and creates a welcoming environment for those who gather there.

Spatial Organization
Paths connect the yoga retreat and tea house, facilitating easy movement between the two structures. These pathways invite exploration and encourage users to engage with the landscape. Additional features, such as a silent garden and an extended terrace, complement the overall design. They provide spots for quiet reflection or community gatherings, enriching the experience for everyone involved.

The architecture employs both vertical and horizontal elements, producing a sense of rhythm within the design. This intentional arrangement prompts users to engage thoughtfully with both the interior and exterior environments. The way light interacts with the spaces throughout the day adds another layer of experience. As the sun moves, the semi-translucent roofing softens the light, creating a calm setting that invites contemplation and strengthens the connection to the surrounding nature.
