The Monte D'Oiro Wine Tasting Room is located in the Lisbon Wine Region of Portugal, recognized for its historical wine-making culture that began in the 17th century. The venue is designed to offer a direct connection between its interior and the surrounding landscape. The overall concept focuses on openness, allowing guests to immerse themselves in both the wine tasting experience and the beauty of the vineyard.

Spatial Configuration

The design accommodates various group sizes, suitable for both large gatherings and intimate meetings. An open terrace extends for outdoor use, making it ideal for summer events and allowing guests to enjoy the vineyard views. In colder months, the interior remains cozy and inviting. With a rounded shape, the design enhances social interaction and creates a warm atmosphere that promotes community engagement.

Entrance Design

Upon entry, guests are met with a narrow corridor that gradually reveals the interior space. This approach stimulates curiosity, inviting visitors deeper into the venue. As one moves through the corridor, views of the external landscape come into focus, enriching the experience as guests transition from the outside world into the heart of the tasting area.

Interior Elements

Inside, a warm, earthy color palette establishes a welcoming environment. Wooden features add a sense of comfort and a connection to the world of wine. A special section of the wall showcases wine bottles, providing both functional storage and visual interest. This element reinforces the venue's focus on wine culture, making it a part of the overall architectural identity.

Natural Light Integration

Large windows positioned throughout the facility allow ample natural light to fill the interior spaces. This design choice enhances the overall atmosphere, ensuring that the environment feels lively and inviting throughout the year. The interaction of light with the interior design elements creates an experience that is engaging and pleasant for all who visit.
