## Project Overview
Located in a setting that reflects the convergence of modern design and natural landscapes, Domos Helios exemplifies a micro housing model focused on technological integration and sustainable practices. Intended for contemporary family living, the design prioritizes functionality while remaining mindful of ecological impacts, ultimately enhancing the living experience within its environment.

## Dynamic Architectural Features
### Adaptive Rotation System
Featuring an innovative rotation mechanism, Domos Helios incorporates user-controlled electronic systems that utilize a steel rail and ball bearing framework. This system allows the residence to pivot at specified angles throughout the day—0 degrees at sunrise, 90 degrees at midday, and 180 degrees at sunset—maximizing exposure to sunlight. This architectural strategy not only promotes natural heating and lighting but also allows residents to engage with their ever-changing surroundings.

### Sustainable Material Selection
The project utilizes a carefully curated selection of eco-conscious materials to support its sustainability goals. Key materials include QuadCore® KS1000RW LEC roof panels, which provide insulation and fire resistance; AquaPALL® steel for a slimline water tank designed for rainwater harvesting; and KingSpan products that enhance energy efficiency. Additionally, natural timber elements are integrated for both structural support and aesthetic warmth, contributing to a holistic approach to environmental stewardship.

## Spatial Layout and Versatility
The interior layout is designed to accommodate various family dynamics with flexible internal spaces. The lower level serves as a communal area, featuring a kitchen, living/dining space, and a bathroom, with a fold-out couch for additional sleeping arrangements. The upper level provides a private bedroom with large windows for enhanced views, while a small workspace caters to remote work needs. This divided zoning ensures both comfort and utility, maximizing the home's functional potential. Large glass walls integrate indoor and outdoor spaces, further emphasizing the connection to nature and enriching the living experience.
