Le casa di Roma is a residential development located near the Tiber River in Rome. It is designed to provide a peaceful living environment while being conveniently close to the city. The project features family-oriented housing and mixed-use spaces that promote community interaction and easy access to everyday needs. The overall design focuses on creating a harmonious balance between private living spaces and communal areas.

Densification and Mixed-Use Integration

The concept of densification is key to the design. Mixed-use sections are blended into the residential spaces to enhance the urban experience. The ground floor includes areas for a bar, café, and shop, contributing to an active neighborhood atmosphere. Above this, shared spaces are created for residents to gather and socialize, including a common studio that fosters interaction among neighbors.

Family-Centric Design

The housing units are tailored to meet the varying needs of families. Different types of living arrangements are provided, accommodating core families, extended families, and single-parent households. Each apartment includes private terraces, which offer much-needed outdoor space for families with young children. The design aims to create a welcoming environment that nurtures community ties and support among residents.

Sustainable Community Engagement

A community farming initiative is part of the project, allowing residents to grow and sell their own produce. This feature encourages sustainable living practices while helping to establish a strong community spirit. It provides an opportunity for residents to connect with one another through shared responsibilities and local food production.

Efficient Construction Methodology

The building process uses prefabricated components, allowing for customizable units that can be manufactured off-site and assembled on location. This method promotes efficiency in construction and allows future residents to personalize their living spaces. The design culminates in a rooftop sky garden, providing a shared outdoor area that enhances the overall sense of community and well-being.
