### Overview

The Mango Vinyl Press (MVP), located in Cēsis, Latvia, is designed to merge contemporary architecture with the local cultural heritage of music. The primary objective is to establish a communal hub that promotes creativity and collaboration, emphasizing accessibility and inclusivity. The name "Mango" reflects the vibrant character of the project, which aims to embody diversity in both its physical design and auditory experiences.

### Spatial Organization

The layout of the MVP features dedicated zones for various functions, including production areas, listening rooms, and community spaces. Each area is designed to accommodate a range of activities from individual exploration to group gatherings. The connection between indoor and outdoor spaces is a key aspect of the design, fostering social interaction and creating an environment conducive to community engagement. Rooftop performance venues further enhance this connectivity, offering a contemporary stage for live music that integrates with the surrounding urban landscape.

### Material Characteristics and Sustainability

Materials used in the construction of the MVP include concrete for structural stability, wood for acoustic treatments and finish details, and glass to maximize natural light within the interior. The strategic use of vinyl not only serves as a thematic focal point but also enriches the visitor experience through designated display and listening areas. The site incorporates landscaped spaces that facilitate social gatherings while supporting ecological goals. Sustainable practices have been prioritized throughout the design, aligning the MVP with contemporary environmental standards and the community's needs.
