### Overview

The "Evergreen Ever After" project provides a conceptual architectural response to the blockage of the Suez Canal by the Evergreen container ship in March 2021. This design reimagines urban living within the context of disrupted global shipping networks, utilizing the container ship as a foundation for innovative architectural solutions. Located in a coastal or port city setting, the proposal presents an opportunity to integrate diverse functions, including residential, educational, and public spaces, into a landlocked vessel, thereby addressing immediate housing demands while reflecting on sustainable living practices.

### Architectural Form and Materiality

The architectural design features a form that mimics the silhouette of a container ship, incorporating recognizable elements such as cranes and repurposed shipping containers as living spaces. This approach not only creates a dynamic skyline typical of port cities but also facilitates the adaptation of modular living, allowing residents to customize their spaces. A sustainable material palette emphasizes the project's commitment to ecological responsibility, including repurposed container steel, extensive glazing for natural light, and durable concrete. The soft pink hue applied throughout the structure serves to soften the industrial appearance, introducing an inviting atmosphere while symbolizing themes of resilience and hope.

### Community Integration and Green Spaces

The project prioritizes the creation of communal green spaces and rooftop gardens, encouraging ecological awareness and social interaction among residents. By incorporating facilities for education and skill-building, the design fosters community resilience and engagement. Additionally, artistic interventions reflecting local culture enhance the environment's visual impact and promote a sense of identity. Through these elements, the proposal advocates for a livable community that balances urban density with environmental stewardship and social connectivity.
