Project in-detail

01
The tower's continuous spiral design connects visually with the surrounding landscape.
02
Terraces at various heights provide comfortable viewing points for visitors.
03
The tapering profile enhances interaction among visitors on different levels.
04
Its vivid red color distinguishes it within the natural environment.
05
The structure encourages community engagement through shared observation experiences.

The Kurgi Observation Tower is located in the countryside, designed to provide visitors with a unique perspective of the natural surroundings. The structure is based on a continuous spiral form that gives the impression of rising from the ground. This connection to the landscape is an essential part of the design concept. The vibrant red color of the tower makes it stand out and adds to its role as a landmark, while serving a functional purpose for observation and exploration.

Architecture Concept

The design features a helix pattern with flattened areas at different heights, which create terraces for visitors. These terraces offer comfortable spaces to rest and enjoy the views without the strain of climbing continuous stairs. This arrangement allows for a varied experience as visitors move up through the tower, providing a welcoming environment for all.

Spatial Interaction

The tapering shape of the tower at its peak encourages interaction among visitors on various levels. This allows people to easily engage with others, creating a sense of community as they share the experience. Strategic openings and viewpoints enhance this interaction, enabling conversations and connections to form naturally as visitors explore the structure.

Visual Identity

Choosing red for the Kurgi Observation Tower plays a crucial role in defining its visual identity. The color gives the tower high visibility against the natural backdrop, drawing attention in a pleasing way. This contrast enriches the overall aesthetic, helping the tower to blend into the landscape while remaining a distinct feature.

Visitors can enjoy spacious terraces that highlight the changing scenery, allowing for a deeper connection with nature as they ascend through the tower.
