La Nostra Terra - The Splits addresses the impacts of climate change on soil and habitats. The setting for this project is a community facing the challenges of dry land where previous buildings have lost their function. The design seeks to rejuvenate this area into a lively space that supports both people and the environment. At the core of the concept are the transformations of deteriorating landscapes into places of growth and interaction.

Design Concept

The design visualizes the cracks found in dry soil as architectural forms that rise in different heights. This abstraction reflects both the natural terrain and the spirit of recovery from adverse conditions.
