## Project Overview
The Melbourne Tattoo Academy is situated in a culturally vibrant area of Melbourne and focuses on the tattoo industry as a platform for artistic education and exploration. The design emphasizes functionality while reflecting the diverse nature of tattoo artistry. It integrates instructional spaces, collaboration areas, and public engagement zones to create a cohesive environment that fosters creativity.

### Spatial Dynamics
The layout of the academy showcases a flexible design that accommodates various activities, including workshops, galleries, and a café. Strategically organized spaces facilitate movement and interaction among users, enhancing the overall learning experience. The entrance features large openings that invite public engagement, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages interactions between students, artists, and visitors.

### Material Selection
A thoughtful selection of materials reinforces the building's character while addressing functional requirements. The exterior is clad in a perforated aluminum façade that provides shading and privacy, while simultaneously allowing natural light to permeate the interior spaces. Brick walls contribute to structural integrity and tactile quality, reflecting traditional craftsmanship. Extensive use of glass enhances transparency and encourages fluid connections between indoor and outdoor environments, while steel ensures stability for flexible workspace arrangements. Concrete serves as a foundational element, providing a solid base for the overall architectural form.
