The design in Kemeri National Park emphasizes the importance of protecting the wetlands and the diverse plant and animal life found in the area. The project features an observation tower that stands at the height of bird flight, allowing people to see the surrounding nature from a new perspective. This design approach enhances the connection between visitors and the local environment, fostering an understanding of the park's unique ecosystems.

Observation Tower

The observation tower serves as the focal point of the design, providing expansive views of the landscape. Its height allows visitors to experience the park as the birds do, encouraging active participation in wildlife observation. The tower’s shape reflects the natural movement of birds, inviting guests to engage with the area’s ecology in a meaningful way.

Aviary Integration

Inside the tower, an aviary brings elements of the natural world into a controlled space. This feature allows visitors to feel a closer connection to the local birds and their habitats. Designed to be educational, the aviary offers opportunities for learning while also creating an immersive environment where birds can be observed in a setting that mirrors their natural surroundings.

Structural Components

The project uses double "T" pillars that provide necessary support and contribute to the overall aesthetic. These structural elements work with the environment rather than against it, ensuring a minimal ecological footprint. A wooden permeable deck is another essential part of the design that facilitates natural drainage and supports the movement of wildlife underneath the tower.

Accessibility Features

An entrance ramp ensures that all visitors can access the observation tower easily. This feature reflects a commitment to inclusivity, making the natural beauty of the park available to everyone. The ramp is practical, encouraging people to explore the area and appreciate it more personally.

The design is further enhanced by the presence of a bird cage, which visually connects the tower with the surrounding habitat. This thoughtful detail encourages visitors to linger, reflecting on the vibrant birdlife that thrives in Kemeri National Park.
