"Paths of Migrants" explores the complex themes of migration through its architectural design. Set in a contemporary context, it highlights the diverse experiences that migrants face during their journeys. The project focuses on three phases: the Beginning, the Path, and the Uncertainty. Each phase sheds light on different aspects of the migrant experience, inviting viewers to engage with the narrative.

Narrative Structure

The design is organized to reflect the progression of migration, guiding the viewer through an emotional landscape. The Beginning illustrates the circumstances that lead people to migrate. It communicates their hopes and the initial challenges they face, providing a foundation for understanding the journey ahead.

Journey Representation

The Path captures the actual experiences encountered along the way. This section is marked by various obstacles and struggles that migrants may face, represented through the architectural form. The layout is designed to evoke a sense of movement, mirroring the challenges individuals experience during their journeys.

Emotional Resonance

The Uncertainty phase addresses the conditions that migrants confront upon arrival in a new place. This part of the design emphasizes the unpredictability of their new lives and the emotional weight that comes with it. Through its layout and organization, the architecture seeks to express the tension between hope for a brighter future and anxiety about what lies ahead.

"Paths of Migrants" showcases the narrative of migration through its thoughtful design choices. The arrangement of spaces creates an immersive experience that reflects the complexity of displacement. The dynamic forms used throughout capture both the struggles and aspirations inherent in the migratory experience, inviting viewers to reflect on the realities faced by migrants.
