THE MOSS WALL is an installation that combines natural elements with built structures in a park setting. It invites visitors to engage with the landscape while exploring an interesting architectural approach. The project highlights the relationship between visitors and their environment through the central feature of a moss wall, which serves both aesthetic and experiential functions.

Design Concept

The moss wall resembles a fold in the landscape, creating a captivating visual experience. This feature encourages people to come closer and notice the various textures and colors of the moss. By making the natural element the main focus, the design helps visitors appreciate the connection between themselves and the surrounding nature.

Spatial Arrangement

The layout allows for different perspectives of the moss wall. Visitors can view it from the ground or from an observation tower, adding depth to their experience. This arrangement emphasizes the significance of how people see and interact with the natural features within the park. It enhances both the intimate experience on the ground and the broader view from above.

Ecological Integration

Live moss is a central material in the design, which aligns with current practices that emphasize sustainability. This choice benefits the local environment while enhancing the visual appeal of the installation. By incorporating natural materials, the design promotes biodiversity and supports ecological health in the area.

Visual Interaction

The moss wall not only serves as a visual element but also invites participation from those who visit. As they walk through the space, the wall draws them into the landscape and encourages exploration. This interaction between architecture and nature emphasizes the importance of their connection, helping to deepen the visitors' understanding of their environment.

The rich textures and organic forms of the moss wall provide an engaging experience. Visitors can feel the connection to nature as they move through the space, making the installation a significant part of their visit to the park.
