### Overview

Located within the context of contemporary furniture design, the VC2 chair represents a synthesis of utilitarian values and aesthetic simplicity, drawing inspiration from the principles of the Bauhaus movement. This project aims to revitalize historical design concepts, integrating them into modern contexts while prioritizing sustainability and functional design traits.

### Design Strategy

The VC2 chair employs modular construction techniques that enhance portability and versatility, making it suitable for various environments, including cafés, retail spaces, and residential settings. Constructed primarily from plywood and stainless steel, the chair's assembly allows for efficient transport and adaptability to changing user needs. The geometric form features sharp angles complemented by rounded edges, promoting inclusivity and comfort for users of diverse body types, while also ensuring safety.

### Material Selection

The choice of materials reflects a commitment to durability and sustainability. Plywood serves as the primary material due to its lightweight and sturdy properties, offering a balance of strength and flexibility. Stainless steel is used for hardware elements to ensure longevity and resistance to wear. This selection underscores a design ethos focused on waste reduction, aligning the project's production processes with environmentally responsible practices.
