The Pavilosta Poet Huts project is located in the picturesque area of Pavilosta, known for its scenic River Curve and varying light conditions. Designed as a retreat, the project features a set of huts that balance communal and individual needs. Visitors can enjoy both social interaction and quiet moments in nature. The design centers on blending the built environment with the surrounding landscape, ensuring that architecture and nature work together.

Hut Types and Arrangements

The design includes diverse hut configurations such as Single, Double, Quadruple, and Family units. Each one serves specific visitor needs. The arrangement features Hut 1, Hut 2—which is multifunctional—and Hut 4. This variety allows guests to choose accommodations that fit their preferences, from small getaways to larger family gatherings.

Facilitating Community Engagement

Common facilities include a Dining Area and Kitchen that encourage interaction among guests. The Meditation Room and Terrace offer quiet spaces for reflection. These areas support social gatherings while allowing for individual downtime. The plan integrates private and shared experiences, making it easy for residents to connect with one another.

Landscape Integration

The landscape incorporates grassy areas and water features, particularly a meditation pond that enhances the site's beauty. These elements promote mindfulness, helping visitors feel connected to nature. The careful selection of landscape features complements the overall vision of the huts, creating an environment conducive to relaxation and contemplation.

Unique Design Elements

A standout feature in the huts is the modular bookcase wall, which serves as both a practical storage solution and a design element. This addition maximizes space and enhances the interior experience. The design aims to create flexible areas that can adapt to various activities while maintaining a consistent architectural style that reflects the local character.

Each hut is strategically positioned to capture natural light and offer views of the beautiful landscape. Sunlight filters in, creating warm and inviting spaces within the structures.
