"Let There Be Light - Day Peep" is situated in the peaceful Vale De Moses, designed as a retreat focused on the relationship between light and nature. The cabin serves as a space for meditation and therapy, inviting users to reflect and connect with their environment. The concept is built around the idea that natural light is essential to the experience within the cabin, shaping its atmosphere and function.

Conceptual Framework

The main idea of the cabin centers on how light interacts with the space. Wooden slits allow natural light to enter, casting patterns of light and shadow that change throughout the day. This approach creates an inviting environment that encourages occupants to engage with the surrounding nature and observe how light can alter their perception of space.

Spatial Configuration

The layout includes a dedicated area for therapy and meditation, following the principles of Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing. This section provides some privacy for users, helping them focus inward while still feeling connected to the forest outside. The arrangement of spaces is well thought out, promoting a sense of calm and a deeper appreciation of the natural surroundings.

Furniture Integration

Inside the cabin, the design features compact furniture tailored for individual use and therapeutic practices. The pieces are arranged to fit the layout without cluttering the space. This design choice allows for ease of movement and helps maintain an atmosphere that encourages relaxation and mindfulness.

The careful interaction between the wooden elements and the light enhances the experience within the cabin. The play of light on the surfaces creates a peaceful setting that promotes reflection and tranquility.
