The building is intended as a sanctuary, offering areas for meditation, study, and creative activities. It integrates insights on perception with modern needs, aiming to promote genuine connections in a digital age.

Conceptual Foundation

The core idea of the design revolves around “non-places,” spaces that lack real social interaction. It seeks to address feelings of disconnection by creating environments that encourage personal thought and self-reflection. By focusing on interiority, the design invites visitors to connect with their inner selves while staying linked to the outside world, moving beyond simple physical space.

Spatial Configuration

The layout emphasizes adaptability, allowing the building to support various functions effortlessly. Spaces are specifically designed for activities like meditation and craftsmanship, providing a versatile user experience. This focus on practicality demonstrates a dedication to creating environments that respond to individual needs, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Integration with Nature

A key aspect of the design is its relationship with the surrounding landscape. The structure blends into the setting, highlighting the importance of ecological sensitivity. This careful integration reinforces the aim of creating peaceful spaces for contemplation and encourages a deep connection with nature.

Materials and Visual Characteristics

Kebony wood features prominently throughout the building, known for its strength and low maintenance. This choice supports the building’s longevity while aligning with sustainable practices. The natural grain and warm hues of the wood enhance the overall look, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the thoughtful nature of the design.

Large windows punctuate the architectural layout, framing views of the outdoor landscape. They allow natural light to fill the interiors, creating a transition between inside and outside, and further enriching the user experience.
