CONVIVERE is located in Rome, Italy, focusing on creating community-oriented urban spaces and essential services. The design embodies the concept of living together, which encourages interaction and accessibility. By placing important amenities nearby, the aim is to foster a supportive environment that promotes daily connections among residents.

Urban Integration

The design lays out a comprehensive plan that connects transportation hubs, grocery stores, schools, and tourist attractions. Each feature is strategically positioned within a 1/4 mile radius to encourage walking and ease of access. This focus on public transport helps to minimize car usage, reinforcing a commitment to sustainable living.

Demographic Considerations

Attention to the local population's needs is a key aspect of the project. The approach considers population density and age distribution, ensuring the design accommodates various age groups. This inclusivity enhances the appeal to a broader demographic and fosters a sense of belonging within the community.

Existing Context

The project thoughtfully incorporates existing land uses, including historic sites, parks, and mixed residential areas. This respect for the surrounding environment shows a dedication to maintaining the character of Rome while allowing for modern development. The careful combination of these elements helps create an architectural style that aligns with the city's rich history.

Incorporating Essential Services

The design emphasizes the importance of having markets and schools close to where people live. This arrangement enhances convenience and supports community interaction. By integrating these essential services, the design promotes a lifestyle where residents can easily access their daily needs. This focus on convenience enriches the overall urban experience, helping to create a vibrant and engaged neighborhood.
