Villa VOON, Tili Vini is a project that promotes sustainable living within a calm environment. Functioning as a group of dwelling units, it focuses on ecological design principles and relies heavily on wood as the primary material. This approach creates a strong connection between the residents and the natural surroundings. The layout is thoughtfully planned to encourage community interaction while also providing adaptable spaces for individual needs.

Sustainable Design

The design emphasizes a commitment to sustainability through responsible building practices. Five individual units are arranged in a way that encourages people to come together. These spaces serve essential functions while allowing flexibility, enabling residents to personalize their homes without sacrificing uniformity in appearance.

Materiality and Construction

A unique aspect of Villa VOON is its patented frame structure made of multiple wooden planks secured with hardwood board strips. This method avoids the use of adhesives and synthetic materials, which keeps the construction process natural. The exclusion of metal components and plastic parts minimizes environmental impact and enhances the overall appearance of the dwelling units.

Community Engagement

The layout is designed to create a village-like experience. A communal dining area acts as the central gathering spot, where residents can interact and share meals. This arrangement not only facilitates social opportunities but also builds a sense of community among those living in the units.

The design integrates features that allow abundant natural light and airflow. Wooden surfaces throughout the homes evoke a sense of warmth and comfort. This attention to detail illustrates a dedication to sustainability and fosters a deeper connection to the environment.
