The Blooming House is a contemporary design that rethinks residential living through a focus on sustainability and adaptability. Located in a variety of potential environments, the structure features a central kitchen and toilet block that form the heart of the home. This design concept is inspired by traditional domestic layouts, where essential functions are clustered together to encourage community and connection while providing private spaces for inhabitants.

Design Concept

The layout of the Blooming House stands out with its petal-like shape, allowing distinct living areas to flow together. The front section includes open spaces for dining and cooking, promoting social interaction. This arrangement simplifies daily tasks and fosters a sense of togetherness among residents. By organizing central services efficiently, the design ensures that movement through the home is intuitive and smooth.

Sustainability Features

Sustainability is a key aspect of the Blooming House. Solar panels on the roof collect energy needed for the home. A rainwater collection system is also included, allowing for efficient use of natural resources. This thoughtful approach to energy and water management highlights the building's goal of reducing its environmental impact while enabling residents to live independently.

Flexible Interior Design

The interiors are crafted to offer functionality and flexibility. A container structure allows furniture to be hidden away when not needed, keeping spaces organized and uncluttered. In the living area, movable furniture can be rearranged to accommodate different activities. The raised sleeping area serves multiple purposes, transforming from a place to rest into a workout or relaxation spot, which showcases the efficient use of space in the design.

Green Integration

Green walls form a significant part of the building's exterior, adding both beauty and ecological benefits. These walls are irrigated with recycled water, supporting plant growth and improving air quality. This integration of nature into the design creates a balance between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing residents with a healthier living environment.

The raised sleeping area incorporates drawers within the steps, providing hidden storage and practical design. Large windows invite natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere that enhances daily life.
