Rocks of the Moon is a carefully designed project that emphasizes the relationship between architecture and nature. It is located in a tranquil landscape, where a series of cabins serve as spaces for meditation and self-reflection. The concept is built around the idea of a rock, symbolizing strength and stability while integrating harmoniously with the surrounding environment.

Design Concept

The design features simple geometric shapes—square, triangle, and circle. These shapes represent different stages of a journey in personal growth. The square offers a sense of stability, the triangle signifies change, and the circle speaks to unity and completeness. Together, these forms create a pathway that invites visitors to explore their inner selves as they move through the space.

Spatial Organization

The arrangement of the cabins plays a key role in the experience. Each opening in the cabins aligns with specific phases of the moon. A small triangular window relates to the waning moon, which symbolizes letting go of energy. The exit to the terrace connects with the New Moon, representing a time for new beginnings. The triangular window in the contemplation area corresponds to the crescent moon, inviting life energy to flow in. The large triangular window acknowledges the Full Moon, marking an increase in energy and reflection.

Material Selection

Wood is the primary material used in the construction of the cabins. This choice reflects a commitment to sustainability and minimizes harm to the environment. Using wood creates a warm and inviting space, making it suitable for meditation. It also enhances sound insulation and helps to maintain a comfortable temperature, supporting a peaceful atmosphere.

Architectural Details

The cabins feature thoughtful details that balance practicality with visual appeal. Windows allow natural light to enter, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow throughout the day. Outdoor terraces encourage interaction with nature, providing a space where users can connect with their surroundings. Each design element contributes to a calm and contemplative experience, allowing users to engage in personal reflection and meditation in their own way.
