Flordefir is a contemporary design located in an area that encourages harmony between buildings and nature. The structure emphasizes openness and versatility, reflecting a modern way of living that values both individual space and communal interaction. Its organization prioritizes how spaces connect, maximizing natural light and creating comfortable areas for both relaxation and social activities.

Materiality

Galvanized steel is a key material in the construction, found in the structure's steel tubes and stairs. This material provides strength and durability, ensuring the building can withstand various weather conditions while contributing to a clean and modern look.

Platowood modified fir is widely used for cladding, flooring, benches, window frames, and sliding doors. This wood introduces warmth and adds a cohesive aesthetic throughout the building, making it inviting and visually pleasing.

Glass is another important element, incorporated in balustrades, windows, and the elevator. Its use allows for significant natural light to enter, creating bright spaces that connect the inside with the outside world. The transparent surfaces enhance the feeling of openness, making each area feel larger and more connected to its surroundings.

Design Features

Flordefir includes floors designed to provide 360° views, effectively engaging occupants with the environment. The entrances are designed for easy access, with a typical floor entrance and a ground floor entrance that facilitate smooth navigation. The top floor features a pavilion of 36 m², intended as a quiet space for relaxation or gathering, offering elevated views of the landscape.

The upper top floor showcases a cast floor that contributes to a modern finish. Solar shingles on the roof indicate a focus on energy efficiency, reflecting an awareness of sustainable practices. A concrete base serves as the foundation, providing stability necessary for contemporary construction.

The arrangement of windows and openings throughout the design fosters a direct connection to nature. This thoughtful placement encourages airflow and allows ample sunlight to brighten the interiors, enhancing the overall atmosphere of comfort and tranquility.
