The meditation cabin project in the Ozolini forests is a retreat designed for quiet reflection. Set amidst a tranquil pine landscape, this space aims to unite the experience of living in a city with the calm of nature. The overall design focuses on flexibility, allowing users to adapt the space for their meditation practices. Open and closed configurations create opportunities for a unique connection with the forest, enhancing the meditation experience.

Spatial Configuration

The cabin offers two main layouts: closed and opened. This flexibility allows users to control the level of enclosure based on their needs, influencing how they feel in the space. By enabling this kind of adjustment, the design can accommodate different meditation activities, giving individuals the freedom to shape their experience.

Engagement with Nature

A significant aspect of the cabin is how it interacts with the surrounding environment. The design includes large windows and open areas that connect the interior with the natural world outside. By inviting the views and sounds of the forest inside, the cabin promotes a stronger bond with nature, encouraging users to focus and reflect without distractions.

Dialogue Between Urban and Natural Elements

The project considers the differences between city life and the forest. City walls create defined spaces, while trees in the forest allow for more organic movement. This contrast influences the design, creating a balance between the structure of urban life and the freedom found in nature. This thoughtful relationship enhances the meditation experience by inviting users to reflect on both settings.

Emphasis on Silence

Silence is crucial to the function of the cabin. The design focuses on creating a peaceful atmosphere, where moments of quiet reflection are encouraged. With attention to sound control and the arrangement of spaces, the cabin minimizes distractions. The result is an environment well-suited for deep contemplation and meditation.

The cabin features large openings that welcome in natural light and fresh air. This design choice enhances the connection with the forest, allowing users to feel more immersed in their surroundings. The integration of indoor and outdoor spaces creates a reflective environment ideal for meditation amidst the beauty of nature.
