The cabin presents a thoughtful approach to sustainability and a connection with the natural world, designed to provide a peaceful environment ideal for meditation and reflection. Situated at the end of a grassy field and surrounded by trees, the building invites visitors to engage with the landscape. Large sliding windows create spacious views, enhancing the experience of being in a natural setting and promoting a sense of openness.

Design Concept

The design focuses on integrating the cabin with the surrounding landscape. Thoughtful planning allows for expansive views while still offering a feeling of seclusion and comfort. This balance enables occupants to immerse themselves in their surroundings, creating a close relationship between the structure and its environment.

Materials and Construction

Timber and masonry are the primary materials used in the cabin's construction, selected for both their environmental properties and visual appeal. A stone masonry wall, made from locally sourced materials, adds a robust character to the building. The grass roof contributes not only to the visual integration with the landscape but also to energy efficiency by providing natural insulation.

Spatial Organization

Interior spaces are designed for flexibility and functional use. A prominent feature is the elevated meditation hall, which allows for uninterrupted views and a strong connection to nature. The room includes a sun altar that captures sunlight at various angles, directing it toward an altar for processing flower essences. Sliding doors enhance the adaptability of the space, allowing for different configurations that optimize light and airflow.

Functional Elements

In addition to the aesthetic aspects, the cabin includes practical elements that enhance usability. A fireplace is carefully positioned to conserve heat, ensuring warmth during colder weather. A storage unit accommodates yoga equipment and supplies for flower essence processing, reinforcing the multifunctional character of the cabin and supporting a lifestyle centered on wellness.

The warmth from the fireplace serves as a focal point, framed by expansive views of the surrounding landscape, inviting relaxation while maintaining an active engagement with nature.
