### Project Overview
The Crystal Lava Lodge is located in the Myvatn region of Iceland, designed to serve as a venue for observing the aurora borealis while reflecting the area's geological characteristics. The architectural intent is to harmonize the built environment with the natural landscape, characterized by volcanic activity and glacial formations, creating a space that fosters connections among visitors.

### Form and Spatial Strategy
The building's angular silhouette evokes the crystalline geometry found in ice formations, establishing a bold visual presence against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks. This unique form integrates with the local environment, enhancing the natural beauty of the Myvatn landscape. The layout features multiple levels, with the ground floor designed as a central circulation hub that includes amenities such as a fireplace and interactive information desk, promoting social interaction among guests.

### Materiality and Sustainability
The design employs a mix of materials that emphasize both aesthetic appeal and environmental consideration. A reflective glass façade provides panoramic views and ample natural light, while local volcanic stone anchors the structure to its surroundings, reinforcing the connection to the landscape.
