The Monte D'Oiro Wine Tasting Room is located in the picturesque vineyards of Quinta do Monte d'Oiro in Portugal. Designed to enhance the experience of wine tasting, the structure is closely tied to its natural surroundings. Structure and Materials
The building features a steel frame that supports expansive glass panels, allowing natural light to flood the interior. This design promotes a strong connection to the landscape, letting visitors enjoy views of the vines outside. The roof, made of corten steel, is elevated on the frame to create airflow and help manage temperature within the space.
Interior Layout
Inside, the space is laid out for functionality and social interaction. A long, suspended wooden table serves as the main gathering point, encouraging people to come together.
