Tili Guest Home is located in the agricultural landscape of Assisi, Italy. It serves as a hospitality destination that merges local heritage with modern design practices. The concept emphasizes a balance between the traditional architectural style of the region and contemporary sustainable techniques, creating a space that respects its environment while addressing current needs.

Traditional and Modern Fusion

The design brings together local building styles with contemporary features, reflecting the cultural story of Umbria, often called "il cuore verde d'Italia." The arrangement of shared areas and private rooms encourages guests to engage with one another, fostering a sense of community. At the same time, quiet spaces offer privacy and comfort, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Material Responsiveness

Materials used in the project are chosen with care, reflecting the local climate and building traditions. The clay tile roof, stone brick walls, and clay brick floors provide durability and thermal comfort. These choices connect the building to the surrounding architecture, reinforcing its ties to local history and culture while ensuring energy efficiency.

Sustainable Practices

Sustainability is a focus throughout the project. It includes features like rainwater collection and smart management of energy use. These strategies reduce resource consumption and contribute to the ecological performance of the building. The emphasis on recycling and reusing materials aligns with modern construction practices, illustrating a commitment to responsible design.

Landscape Integration

The landscape surrounding Tili Guest Home enhances its design, featuring flowering gardens, open grassy areas, and views of nearby vineyards. This incorporation of nature not only beautifies the site but also encourages biodiversity and offers a peaceful retreat. The outdoor spaces extend the living area, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the serene rural setting.

The design embodies a harmonious blend of shared spaces and private retreats, framed by the lush scenery of Italy, inviting visitors to experience the region’s charm.
