Vogafjós Landslag Resort is located in a beautiful natural setting, providing a space for relaxation and connection with the outdoors. It features a circular layout that encourages movement and interaction among guests. The design creates a balance of community spaces and private areas, allowing visitors to enjoy moments together while also finding solitude. Large windows throughout the building allow natural light to fill the interiors and frame views of the surrounding landscape.

Design Concept

The circular design is central to the overall concept, promoting easy movement and enhancing the experience of guests. By organizing the space in this way, the resort maximizes views while facilitating access to various areas. This arrangement supports both social interaction and individual retreats within the shared environment.

Architectural Aesthetics

The architecture embraces a modern style that reflects the local environment. It is designed with consideration for its geographical context, creating a structure that feels at home in its surroundings. Although specific materials are not described, the overall design suggests an intent to use elements that strengthen the connection to the landscape.

Landscape Integration

The landscape design is integral to the overall experience of the resort. It incorporates natural rock formations and local vegetation, creating a strong link between the architecture and the environment. Outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to encourage relaxation and socializing, enhancing the experience of being in nature.

Expansive windows are found throughout the resort, connecting indoor areas to the outdoor views and allowing light to flood the spaces. This design choice invites the changing landscape into the building and creates a lively atmosphere throughout the day. The play of light and shadow adds depth to the interiors, enriching the overall experience for guests.
