## Project Overview

Located in Bintaro District 9, Jakarta, Indonesia, the Griya Prana design addresses the living needs of seniors while fostering a sense of community and environmental sustainability. The architectural intent is to create a welcoming environment that promotes social interaction and well-being among residents.

### Spatial Configuration and Community Integration

The project employs a distinctive stacking arrangement that merges communal and private spaces, facilitating interaction without compromising individual privacy. Living units are clustered to enhance connectivity and ease of movement, while strategically designed communal areas—such as meditation pavilions, zen gardens, and leisure spaces—encourage resident engagement. The overall design emphasizes natural light and ventilation, contributing to a comfortable living atmosphere.

### Material Selection and Sustainability

Material choices for Griya Prana reflect modern architectural standards while ensuring ecological responsibility. Concrete is employed for structural integrity, while extensive use of glass allows for transparency and a connection to the outdoors. Wood adds warmth to the interiors, contributing to aesthetic comfort. Green roofing systems enhance insulation and promote environmental sustainability, while steel reinforcement provides durability. The integration of permeable landscapes further supports the ecological fabric of the site.

Composed of three living configurations—fully assisted living units, communal assisted living units, and independent residences—the project caters to a range of needs within a supportive community framework.设施 such as the Ghirana Recital Hall serve both residents and the local community, bridging social gaps through public events and artistic expression.
