### Overview

The project focuses on addressing population mobility and housing accessibility through a modular housing model located near the Mureș River bridge in Timișoara, Romania. This area, known for its architectural significance and urban challenges, serves as an ideal setting for exploring innovative housing solutions that support flexibility, affordability, and community integration.

### Spatial Strategy and Community Design

The layout incorporates modular structures designed to accommodate individuals and small family units, allowing for scalability to larger groups when necessary. A central communal area situated between the housing modules promotes social interactions and community-building activities, thereby enhancing the living environment. Connectivity is further established through a bridging element that facilitates movement between shared and private spaces, underscoring the importance of interconnected living.

### Material Selection and Sustainability

The project emphasizes a strategic choice of materials that align with its functional and aesthetic objectives. Wood is utilized for modular frames due to its thermal efficiency and aesthetic appeal, while steel is incorporated for structural stability, particularly in bridging components. Concrete provides durability for foundations and common areas, and glass is employed in window configurations to enhance natural light and views of the river.
