### Project Overview

Located in Dubai, HorizonRoam addresses the evolving needs of remote work for young professionals within urban settings. The design aims to facilitate a balanced integration of work and leisure, creating an environment that promotes productivity while enhancing connections to the surrounding natural landscape.

### Spatial Configuration and Functionality

The project's layout employs a linear settlement design, fostering fluid interactions among designated work, leisure, and communal spaces. Each modular unit is strategically positioned to offer privacy alongside expansive views of the landscape, promoting a tranquil working environment. Versatile spaces within each unit adapt to the user's needs, allowing areas to transform from workspaces to leisure zones. Enhanced connection to the outdoors is achieved through large windows and outdoor patios, inviting natural light and landscape engagement.

### Sustainable Material Practices

A focus on sustainability informs the selection of construction materials, ensuring both durability and eco-friendliness. The Kingspan HK-Design Cassette facade provides essential insulation suited for Dubai's climate, while the QuadCore AWP wall panel contributes to a reduced carbon footprint. Additional materials, such as cement-based boards for structure durability and wood paneling for warmth, are incorporated thoughtfully. The integration of energy-efficient technologies, including solar panels and high-performance Kooltherm K107 insulation, supports the project's commitment to minimizing ecological impact and energy costs.
