### Overview

“Pulse” is located within a forested environment, designed to foster interaction, community engagement, and a connection to nature. Through an open and modular approach, the project redefines traditional performance spaces, allowing for a dynamic interplay between structure and surroundings. The design encapsulates a concept rooted in rhythmic experiences, encouraging collaboration among users while integrating with the natural landscape.

### Spatial Configuration and Functionality

The layout features two central structures composed of modular cubes that serve multiple purposes, including performance and gathering areas. This open configuration enhances exploration and interaction, allowing users to navigate various spatial arrangements that are tailored for different activities. Proximity between performers and audience members is a key design element, promoting intimacy and engagement. The overlapping structures present a visual language of randomness and unity, embodying the concept of a collective "pulse" resonating throughout the space.

### Materiality and Environmental Integration

The construction utilizes a combination of wood and steel to create a harmonious contrast with the forest backdrop. Wooden modules provide a warm, organic aesthetic, while robust steel framing ensures structural integrity. Additionally, textile elements serve both acoustic and visual functions, enhancing the atmospheric quality of the space and allowing for adaptability in varying conditions. This thoughtful integration within the forest landscape minimizes ecological disruption, emphasizing sustainability and promoting a seamless relationship between built and natural environments.
