The Monte d'Oiro Wine Hotel is set within a scenic vineyard landscape. It combines elements of hospitality, conference facilities, and wellness services. The design centers around creating a space that encourages relaxation and interaction with nature. By fostering a connection to the surrounding countryside, the hotel offers guests an enriching experience that highlights the beauty of its environment.

Spatial Organization

The layout of the hotel strategically aligns its main buildings. The hotel, conference hall, and spa are oriented toward the existing chapel, establishing a clear pathway for visitors. This setup enhances views of the vineyards and invites exploration. A bridge connects the hotel to the conference area, adding an element of unity while improving access. Public areas have been thoughtfully designed to create inviting spaces where guests can gather and connect.

Architectural Elements

Celosias play a key role in the design, providing practical solar shading and adding decorative patterns to the facades. These features help manage the sunlight throughout the day, creating a comfortable indoor atmosphere. The celosias contribute to the identity of the hotel, allowing it to blend harmoniously with its surroundings. They enhance the character of the building without overshadowing the natural beauty of the landscape.

Materiality

The choice of materials reflects the regional culture and climate. Ceramics and tiles are used throughout the design, merging modern architecture with traditional influences. These materials serve practical functions while establishing a connection to the agricultural landscape. The colors and textures complement the natural environment, creating a cohesive experience for visitors.

Careful attention has been given to the landscaping as well. Native plants are incorporated into the design, enriching the connection between the hotel and its surroundings. This thoughtful integration creates a peaceful atmosphere, further enhancing the experience for guests at the Monte d'Oiro Wine Hotel.
