The meditation cabin combines simplicity and functionality within a natural landscape. It serves as a space for reflection and mindfulness, allowing users to connect with their surroundings. The design consists of two interlocking squares: the larger outer square frames the structure while the smaller inner square contains the essential areas for sleeping, bathing, eating, and storage. This configuration fosters user flexibility and creates a clear flow of space.

Structure and Adaptability

A movable wall surrounds the inner square, enabling flexible arrangements of the interior. This feature allows for adjustments based on user needs, maximizing natural light and minimizing distractions from the outside. The sloped roof extends beyond the walls to provide shade while simultaneously creating a strong visual connection to the landscape.

Materials and Sustainability

Sustainability is central to the selection of materials. The foundation uses individual footings to elevate the structure, protecting it from water while also offering wide views. Wooden poles make up the main structural elements, aligning with eco-friendly practices and supporting local resources. White cork flooring enhances the calming atmosphere and provides a sustainable option for the interior.

Spatial Organization and Function

The layout includes a concrete slab that serves as a solid base, with a reserve designed for a potential bathroom to improve functionality. Wooden beams throughout the cabin provide essential support while allowing access to the roof, creating a cohesive design. The burned wood used for wall panels adds texture and depth, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere inside.

Detailed Design Element

Flexible space solutions are a key part of the cabin's design, providing options for various sizes to accommodate different needs. Thoughtful storage choices and movable walls reflect the priority given to individual requirements. The design emphasizes a serene and engaging environment, where every detail encourages users to fully experience the quiet nature surrounding them.
