The design is located in the north of France and aims to create a welcoming living environment focused on comfort and emotional well-being. The layout includes several key spaces that address the needs of residents while fostering community. The overall concept balances areas for social interaction with spaces for personal reflection, allowing individuals to find connection as well as solitude.

Therapy Rooms and Gathering Spaces

At the heart of the design are therapy rooms, which are dedicated spaces for healing and support. These rooms are paired with a gathering area that encourages residents to interact and form connections. This layout promotes emotional resilience and emphasizes the importance of shared experiences in building a supportive community.

Kitchen and Dining Area

The kitchen and dining area serves as a central hub for residents, promoting communal meals and interactions. Designed to encourage engagement, this space allows residents to come together, strengthening their sense of belonging. Sharing meals is an essential part of daily life that fosters relationships and enhances overall well-being.

Outdoor Integration

Outdoor spaces form a significant part of the design, featuring a patio, a staff patio, and a garden. These areas create a connection to nature while providing residents with opportunities to relax outside. The garden is designed to be a calming environment, with various plants that engage the senses, contributing to the peaceful surroundings.

Reflective Spaces

To cater to individual needs, the design includes a meditation area and a chapel. These spaces offer moments for personal reflection, allowing residents to find solitude when needed. Thoughtfully created, these areas encourage connection to oneself and the natural world, further enhancing the overall atmosphere of tranquility.

The combination of shared spaces and personal retreat areas reflects a clear understanding of the importance of both community and privacy. A chimney extends from the roof, suggesting warmth and comfort, inviting residents to experience a sense of home within this thoughtfully designed environment.
